The Last Dance Recap Pt. 2

As the first day of school is approaching and as the summer season comes to an end for most basketball clubs. DFW SOURCE OF SPORTS hosted the last dance to end with a bang in Duncanville,Texas. Here is our part 2


Playing With a Spark


The 4th grade Lady Sparks turned off the scoreboards almost every game because of their high performances. Between the 4 games they played, the total score was 150-28 against their opponents. This 10U team can flat out run and go.


They were Led by Ziya Johnson

She was a tremendous scores who was very impressive for age. She has an excellent IQ for her to be that young and her future is definitely bright.



Tomahawks Wins It All

This group got after it! They are nice size team for their age, they run the floor, play as team and most importantly they are intense on defense as a team.







Talent Pierce 5'6


Class of 2027


Summer Team : Tomahawks


Middle School : Finely Middle School


Pierce has the perfect first name because he is just that…. He has a Strong body that allows to move defenders out the way to allow him to score around rim, he hustles 24/7 and plays hard until the final buzzer. We are hoping that we can watch him some more over the next few years!

Montaveousa Alexander 5'8


Class of 2027


Summer Team : Tomahawks


Middle School : Finely Middle School


First of all, if you look at Alexander feet and long arms, you would know that this kid has a lot more growing to do. He has a grit that he brings to the game that most coaches can’t coach. Alexander can blow by his defender 1 on 1, has a good pull up game and very athletic to get off the floor to grab rebounds. Once he finished growing, Alexander has potential to be a force that will be hard to play and coach against.

Malice Esparza 5'8


Class of 2027


Summer Team : Tomahawks


Middle School : Finely Middle School


Esparza brings a lot of energy to his team . His energy sets a tone that his team can feed off of . He moves on the court without the ball, can knock down the open shot and a good passer.



The Centex of Attention

Jerrica Haines 5'8


Class of 2026


Summer Team : Centex Seahawks


Middle School : ( NOT PROVIDED)


Haines makes big plays when needed, strong foward who can play the guard position, leader on the floor with constant communication and a great team player. Haines is an excellent rebound and can finish around the rim very well. Keep an eye out on her.



Jadesola Aladipo 5'8


Class of 2026


Summer Team : Centex Seahawks


Middle School : ( NOT PROVIDED)


Smooth and versatile player that never gets tired. She is a true scorer that scored double digits every game. She has a nice wing span that allows her to stretch out to put the ball in the hoop. Central Texas definitely has special talent In the 254 area.


Iron sharpens Iron

Myles Hall 5'3


Class of 2029


Summer Team : Iron Handles


School : ( NOT PROVIDED)


Hall has been producing on the floor for some time now. He’s has a Russell Westbrook type of game that makes him a true slasher. Hall has quick handles, great court vision, a scoring machine and can push the ball up the floor. Along with aggressive defense, Hall also brings that true killer instinct that every coach likes to have on the team. Remember this kid name and face! Oh and by the way he's only going to the 5th grade.



Brylie the Magician


Brylie Dawson 5'9


Class of 2027


Summer Team : Texas Rise


Middle School : McKinzey Middle School

Brylie Dawson is a incoming 7th grader that most people would mistakenly assume is an incoming freshman. Dawson has nice height, strong shoulders and handles that amazes the crowd every time she shows ball handling skills. A strong guard who creates contact as she dribbles to the rim to force her defenders to foul her. She has excellent ball handling skills, moves the ball well and is becoming a vocal leader in the court . She will be attending McKinzey middle school in Mansfield ISD, so keep and eye out for her.
